bORbA (Trail building voluntary actions)

In the period from August to October 2024, Bike Park Rakovac will organize voluntary work actions under the name BORBA (Innocent Youth Work and Bike Action). The goal of these actions is the arrangement of two bicycle paths, Green and Blue, as well as the cleaning of garbage from the part of the forest where the park is located.

Goals and Ideas of Work Actions

The basic idea of the work actions is to involve local cyclists in the development of the Bike Park, which would show the MTB community its strength and solidarity. The development of the park will inevitably affect the growth of the local MTB community. For this reason, our special goal is to include in the actions the population that is still not familiar with the benefits of mountain biking - the future users of the park.

Importance of Local Community Involvement

The approach to Bike Park development by local community members will create a higher level of connection and responsibility of individuals towards the overall idea of Bike Park development. Only in this way, through the independent engagement of individuals, the self-sustainability of the Bike Park will become a reality.

Fundraising

Members of the association will try their best to provide the necessary funds for holding work actions through the collection of donations. This includes tools, transportation, food, drinks and other necessary resources.
