A Day Full of Adrenaline and Fun

On September 22, 2024 , Bike Park Rakovac hosted the first official MTB Jam on Fruška Gora - Viktor JAM . This local gathering of cyclists was a real treat for all lovers of adrenaline and a good ride.

The gathering started at the finish line of the "Victor" trail , the red trail in Bike Park Rakovac. The riders gathered and headed up the trail to the first set of elements: Hip-Up and Long Jump. There, the boys showed their tricks and styles, while chef Raša prepared a pot of pork stew, with the support of butcher shop Štrand.

The competitions were of a relaxed nature , and the judges were real experts: Alex from Bike Park Rakovac, Viktor - the legend of freestyle cycling, and Pirke, the owner of Pirke Bike Shop.

At the first spot there was a real explosion of tricks, while the riders showed their skills on the

Hip-Up and Long Jump elements. The crowd enjoyed every moment.

The second spot was "Hippocrates", where the best trick competition was held. Bicycles were flying, arms and legs were waving in all directions, and the audience was delighted.

The third spot was "Skinny race" - a time trial race on a track with sharp curves and the Skinny. The riders did their best, and the audience enjoyed the attractive drops and exciting rides.

The fourth spot was the Ski Jump, where the riders pushed the boundaries, and the longest jump was an incredible 17.8 meters (58 feet)!

At the end of the day, everyone went down to Chef Raša, where Dragan from Bike Park Rakovac handed out prizes to the best:

1. Best Style - Dušan

2. Best Trick - Denis

3. Race Hero (Skinny race) - Dušan

4. Air Hero (longest jump) - Dennis

5. Hero of the Day - Oliver

   
   

The winners received trophies made by Mateja from Triton, as well as vouchers for a day pass at Bike Park Rakovac. It was especially touching when Dušan shared his award with Herman, who was second in two categories.

The goal of this gathering was to strengthen the freeride community, which is also the mission of the Bike Park Rakovac association. The event was evaluated as more than positive, and everyone expressed the desire to hold such gatherings regularly. To everyone's joy, there were no injuries.
