Red Bull Rampage watch party

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Novo Naselje in Novi Sad brought together mountain biking enthusiasts and the general public. At Bate Brkića 24, there was an outdoor premiere of the local MTB film "Freeride Decade" along with a live broadcast of the Red Bull Rampage competition, set amidst the birch trees.

The event started with guests assembling in the park, where an open-air cinema was set up specifically for this occasion, courtesy of our friends from NKN (Novo Kulturno Naselje). Attendees relished the informal ambiance, lounging on laid-back chairs and vibrant picnic rugs. The organizers meticulously attended to every detail, enhancing the warm and relaxed atmosphere.

The film "Freeride Decade" captivated the audience with its energy and stunning scenes of local landscapes. Author Jovan Blešić uniquely highlighted these through various stories of individuals from our region involved in freeriding. From mountain biking and car racing to snowboarding, skiing, and bouldering, each scene was packed with adrenaline and emotional moments, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. Each chapter introduced us to new people, their stories, and the passions that drive them through life, which the team, along with the author, has captured over the past decade!

Besides promoting the film, this event also provided a chance to unite the cycling community. Attendees shared experiences, organized group rides, and offered tips on equipment and cycling methods.

Following the film's premiere, the Red Bull Rampage competition was viewed live.

The debut of the local MTB film in Novo Naselje demonstrated once more how a passion for sports and nature can unite people and create memorable experiences.
